The word ‘Zillion’ according to a well known dictionary means ‘an unlimited large number’. At Zillionite.com we think this word suits us best because there is an unlimited number of possibilities, dreams and adventures out there.
Children have an infinite imagination. Adults do too, it's just that sometimes they forget where they have put it. There really are no boundaries to the amount of fun and play that can be experienced. It is yet to be proven by science but we believe everyone has a piece of Zillionite within them - a magical factory of ideas, play and imagination. At Zillionite we believe in the proven notion of learning through play, using imagination to create a world of exciting adventures and having fun on the way.
We Can Do Anything! The New Book from David George Mathews

A small sparkle of an idea can lead to wonderful things! One rainy evening whilst thinking of something to play with his young son, David came up with the idea to create people to be, places to go and things to do using a little imagination and nothing more than a cardboard box and a few household props.
David and his son soon conjured up an igloo in the Northern coldlands, a journey into space using a rocket ship and a scary, hairy monster! These ideas grew and it was not long before David realised that this game was great fun, creative and educational. He decided to create a children's picture book so that other parents could enjoy learning and play with their children using some basic ideas. The book is also an ideal bed-time read as it provides phonics and rhyme to provide a light subject matter.
The illustrations were provided by David who wanted a simple and colourful theme, something that children would easily identify with.
As David says, "I now have two sons and whilst we enjoy the odd computer game we have found that we have learned from and enjoyed most the games that cost little but involve discovery and creativity." But We Can Do Anything is not just about adults or children. The characters that little ones can enjoy spotting on every page are gender neutral so can be boys, girls, siblings, friends or family. Originally the book was written with boys from toddler to early school years in mind but really can be used for any child with a sense of adventure and that includes big ones of course!
